Interested in research on Table Representation Learning (TRL) to democratize insights from structured data? Then you are a perfect candidate for one of the two new PhD positions we have opened in our lab, and will be hiring for, possibly, through the ELLIS PhD program (or reach out directly, for an earlier start date). Both PhD students are advised by Dr. Madelon Hulsebos in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam where they will also get their PhD degree from, the second co-advisor from a foreign ELLIS institute will be selected together with the selected PhD students.

The TRL Lab provides a vibrant research environment at CWI in Amsterdam for pioneering research on all aspects related to TRL. We have also initiated the TRL Research Theme ELLIS unit Amsterdam, where we host workshops, monthhly seminars, and biweekly reading groups. Come join us!
